Now that our 2009 audition exercises are posted it's time to start drumming!  Keep in mind that our exercises are meant to be straight forward and easy to learn, allowing us to spend less time "rehearsing" the material, and more time teaching you to be a better musician.  Focus on the basics, feel free to ask questions, and don't be intimidated.  The audition atmosphere will be much more of a workshop this year, where you will get great feedback throughout the weekend on the things you do well and things you can work on to improve your overall ability.  Even if we can't find a place for you in the line, we'll make sure you're well prepared to come back next year!

Bottom line is no matter what your ability level, don't let that deter you from coming out for auditions.  Redline is about having a great experience and becoming a better musician.  Just show up with your sticks, a great attitude, and an open mind, and we'll do the rest! 

MOST IMPORTANTLY, you must fill out and submit the Audition Form.  Even if you're not sure you'll make it to auditions, go ahead and fill one out and we'll put you on the mailing list to make sure you get all the info you need.  You can remover yourself at any time, but it's important for us to have an idea of who will be coming out to auditions so we can be prepared to give everyone the best experience possible.
